RETURN POLICY FOR THE SURF FISHING GUY


If you would like to return a product purchased from my on-line store, please contact our customer service department (you get to talk to me or my lovely wife)  at 1-704-743-8726 to tell us what is going on.  We will take care of your needs and be fair and responsive.  That is why I have our phone number listed to ensure you speak to a real person, you will enjoy my lovely wife’s southern accent.

RETURNS “LIKE NEW” CONDITION WITH “ALL” ACCESSORIES     

Products may be returned within 60 days of receipt in new, unused condition with the original shipping materials.  Returns will be credited for the product only.   Items need to be returned in a like-new condition. Items that are damaged, unsanitary, dented, scratched or missing major contents may be denied a return.

Apparel must not be worn or laundered, and its original tags must be attached for us to accept a return.

Please return items with all accessories and packaging. If you do not, we may either deny the return or allow a return with a nonrefundable deduction on your refund for what is missing.


RETURNS BY MAIL
To return an online purchase by mail:
  1. Pack your return in the original shipping package, if possible.
  2. Include the packing slip and use the provided return label and indicate the reason for the return.
  3. Include all original accessories.
  4. Send your return to:  The Surf Fishing Guy, 856 Ainsley Place SE, Concord, North Carolina 28025

For proof of delivery, we recommend that you return items via UPS or insured USPS.


DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS RECEIVED

If you receive a product that is defective upon opening or that is not the product you ordered call us for special instructions at 1-704-743-8726. We will double check the order on our end to ensure our mistake does not happen again. The Surf Fishing Guy will cover all reasonable and customary ground shipping fees.


DAMAGED ITEMS

Unfortunately, the Surf Fishing Guy cannot be responsible for damaged items you receive.  In this case, take pictures, save all packaging and file a claim with the carrier. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer.  You can always text me, 704-743-8726, to keep me updated with this issue.


RETURNS LACKING PROOF OF PURCHASE
Reimbursements on returns lacking proof of purchase may require an email address and may be denied or limited.


REFUND METHOD AND TIMING

With a few exceptions, we will reimburse you for returned items in the same way you paid for them. Most refunds will be issued immediately.  If you prefer, you can make an exchange for the same item.  Any amounts deducted from a gift card will be credited to the gift card. If you no longer have the gift card used for an order, please call us at 1-704-743-8726, with your order number and we’ll be happy to send or email you a replacement.
