SOUTH CAROLINA STATE FLAG 2' X 3'
Product Details
Weight: 0.22 lbs

While surf fishing the flagless beaches of North Carolina, once or twice a year I would see a state flag flying high. I feel as a way to show our fellow fishermen how proud we are of our surf fishing coastline, I will offer all state flags that have coastlines.

But to start I am offering just a few state flags. I will add more states soon. As many of you well know running a small business teaches us to juggle with both hands and both feet. Besides all that mess, my garage is a bit full of “the Best Gear on the Surf.”

History of South Carolina State Flags:

Adopted January 26, 1861
It has a white palm tree with a white crescent moon on a blue background
In 1775 Colonel William Moultrie was asked to design a flag for the South Carolina Troops during the American Revolutionary War
This flag is known as the “Moultrie Flag” or the “Liberty Flag”
This flag is the same blue as the current flag, bit only has a moon crescent in the top left corner with the word “liberty”
In 1861 South Carolina left the Union and needed to design a flag for their new Nation
The first draft was done on January 21, 1861 and after a week discussing the design the flag on January 26, 1861 the design was decided
The design was a white flag with a green palm tree and in the top left corner there is a blue field with a white crescent moon
This flag is also known as the 2-day flag because on January 28, 1861 they decided to change it to the current design

State Flag: Our 2x3ft Polyester State Flags have header tape and 2 metal grommets for easy display. Bold colors stand out for a flag you can be proud of. Printed on one side all the way through the fabric.

Quality construction: Double-stitched around all edges with 4 rows of stitching on fly edge. 100 denier polyester is more durable than the typical poly flag.
