This flag is flown high up and down the East coast from Maine to Texas.

The Outer Banks (frequently abbreviated OBX) are a 200 mi string of barrier islands and spits off the coast of North Carolina and southeastern Virginia, on the east coast of the United States. They line most of the North Carolina coastline, separating Currituck Sound, Albemarle Sound, and Pamlico Sound from the Atlantic Ocean.

They were home to Andy Griffith and Blackbeard, the famous Pirate of old. BUT most importantly they produce some of the largest redfish in the world and fishermen visit The OBX from all continents to try to catch their “HOLY GRAIL.”
